Though he believes his work is self-taught naif style, currently being considered as the most outstanding exponent of this genre in the Dominican Republic. Morillo is on his canvas the joy turned into a slight laugh with what he sees around him, you would think and what you dream, figures and objects have their place without playing either one or the other, coming together so many elements of our syncretism popular and religious.
